About Time to First Bite

Twenty years of growth, built for founders.

London-based fractional CMO and growth marketing consultancy. We help B2B and B2C companies find product-market fit, build repeatable growth engines, and turn strategy into measurable revenue.

The story

Why Time to First Bite

Time to First Bite was founded in 2024 to compress the distance between a growth idea and the first measurable result. The name comes from the moment a customer first engages, the first sale, the first qualified meeting booked, the first lead through the door. Most marketing programs lose time and money manufacturing that moment. Our job is to make it happen faster, with less drama, and with the data to prove it worked.

We work the way operators want to work. Hands on the dashboard, not slides on a screen. Senior thinking and senior execution from the same person. Decisions made in days, not quarters.

We help passionate, driven, sometimes chaotic companies focus on what matters most. We listen, cut through the noise, ship the work that moves the business forward, and stay close to the dashboard until the numbers prove it worked.

How we work

Five operating principles

PRINCIPLE 01

Outcomes over activities

A campaign calendar is not a strategy. We start with the business outcome you need to hit, then work backwards to the smallest set of activities that get you there.

PRINCIPLE 02

Experimentation over opinions

Every recommendation is testable. We codify a repeatable experimentation playbook covering CAC, LTV, payback, and cohort quality, then allocate budget to the highest-conviction bets.

PRINCIPLE 03

Operator-level fluency

Senior strategy and senior execution from the same operator. We will write the copy, build the landing page, set up the workflow, and review the dashboard.

PRINCIPLE 04

AI-native production

We use Cursor, Arcads, Cassidy, and Claude to ship performance creative, lifecycle assets, and campaign collateral directly. Brief-to-launch cycles compressed by 60 percent versus traditional agency timelines.

PRINCIPLE 05

Honest reads, even when they hurt

If your unit economics do not support paid acquisition, we will tell you. If your channel mix is wrong, we will say so. We have lost business by being honest. We will keep doing it.
